At the meeting of Bromley Council on 27th February, the Council voted in favour of a 4.99% increase in Council Tax for 2023-2024. During the meeting Bromley Liberal Democrats proposed amendments to the Budget to make it fairer, greener and less wasteful of taxpayer money. The Lib Dems opposed the Conservatives' proposal to spend £140,000 on legal fees to fight the ULEZ Expansion - Lib Dem Sutton are opposing the scheme too but they aren't throwing taxpayers' money away to make a political point.
