Fair Funding Review: London Lib Dems warn Labour “blind” to poverty London faces

Responding to the Government’s statement on the Fair Funding Review 2.0, Liberal Democrat London Spokesperson Luke Taylor has said: 

“I am deeply concerned that Labour continues to be blind to the high levels of deprivation and poverty our capital faces. 

“In particular, despite having the highest level of child poverty in the country, the new formula for Children and Young People’s Services simply does not give London councils what they need. 

“The Liberal Democrats will continue to hold Labour to account and demand the funding to ensure that every Londoner gets access to the services they need.”
