We will be calling voters in area's we are aiming to win for this years General Election. And GLA london election so please come... even if you have never done it before, it's really fun and a chance to Reach out to our members and voters

This year all our GLA counts will be verified, sorted and counted manually - there will be no helpful ward by ward breakdown of the results provided by city hall, and we’ll have to tally our target areas by hand. 

That’s why we’re putting on an in person practical count training session at 4pm on Sunday 28th April.

You’ll get to be part of a live count with our training team and you’ll have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you need of the team and of me, your London Agent, so that you can get the very best information out of the count. 

If you want to win in 2026 getting the best information out of this GLA count.

As polling day is on the first Thursday of the month, we have moved our pub drinks to Saturday evening - by which point we should have a result.   This will be a chance to let you hair down after what will have been a long month  - and a time to celebrate our progress in London. 

For anyone who wants to go "out out", a certain Lib Dem-led band are playing O'Neill's Soho at midnight.   Ask Charlie for info ;) 

NB - there will be a seperate "Thank you party" on May 8th at the NLC - attended by Rob, Hina and the campaign team, but we want to keep up the regular monthly pub drinks as a more casual event.  

Buy a round for London 

We are continuing our "Buy a Round for london" Scheme  - every pound helps! so whether you can make it or you can't - consider donating the cost of a pint to the party.  

This is an invitation for anyone who has contributed to the London campaign over the preceding months to come and enjoy a relaxed evening at the National Liberal Club.  Deliverers, canvassers, phonebankers, donors, HQ staffers, envelope stuffers, digital campaigners - and more. All of your contributions add up - and however the campaign ends we already know that we have raised our game. 

We'll be based in the Lounge for the evening (ground floor), with access to the terrace and the wider club.  Rob & Hina will be on hand to say a few words (c. 7pm), and there will be some lighthearted "awards" - so get out there canvassing!   

There will be some complentary drinks available  - so do come early if you can, and as a additional thank you for your efforts, the NLC are offering our attendees a complementary single of Gladstone Axe Whiskey - created by the great grandson of William Gladstone himself.

May see's the return of our monthly coffee mornings - so if you are looking for a chilled Sunday morning on May 26th come and join us for a coffee and a chat in a stunning surrounds of the Hansom, at the Rennaissance hotel.  

All are welcome - new members especially encouraged.  Its a great way to meet a few fellow Lib Dems. 

Please note the coffee mornings are a case of "pay your own way" - as we do with the regular pub drinks.  There is no money "behind the bar" so to speak.
