London Liberal Democrats can do far more to help the party’s membership and priorities reflect the diverse communities of the city we aspire to represent.
The general election review identified campaigning with diverse communities as a key priority. This is even more urgent in London, looking ahead to next year’s mayoral and GLA election, the council elections beyond that in 2022 - and given the vibrant diversity of our capital city.
Local parties are at different stages of their engagement with diverse communities in their boroughs. London region and the London 2021 campaign team are inviting lead members of local parties to join an action-oriented session to learn from others’ experiences and develop practical plans to boost engagement with your local communities.
