Scrap the Silvertown Tunnel

Sadiq Khan is set to spend £2bn on the polluting Silvertown Road Tunnel in East London.

This will increase air pollution and congestion - damaging the health of Londoners.

The Liberal Democrats believe we must invest in public, not polluting transport and so Sadiq Khan must scrap the Silvertown Tunnel project and invest the savings in the public transport projects, like the Bakerloo Line extension, he's delayed because of a "lack of funds."

Cleaning up London's air must be a priority and starts with Transport for London stopping their investments in polluting projects like Silvertown.

 

I the undersigned believe the £2bn Silvertown Road Tunnel must be scrapped and that the money saved should fund public transport projects.
