London LibDem Newbies Meetup August 2015

Here are the details for the latest in our series of London Lib Dem newbie meetups - organised by a bunch of excited newbies for a bunch of excited newbies. August is typically a quiet month but we're expecting this to be another wonderful event for Lib Dems, new and old, to meet one another, hatch plans and hear the latest news.

This month, we are delighted to have two amazing speakers who can give us two very different perspectives on what being a Lib Dem is all about.

Geraldine Locke, one of our newest councillors following her exceptional win in the Hampton Wick by-election, will give us an insight into what it takes to topple the Tories at the ballot box.

Professor Tim Bale of Queen Mary University of London is one of the Britain's most prominent political scientists. Tim will share with us his research into what are the issues and the people who make up the Liberal Democrat membership. There will also be a chance to get involved in some of his research.

Please sign up, come along, meet some wonderful people and help to make a positive difference to our fast-growing party.
