London Spring Conference 2015

Come and help to kick start the general election campaign in London, with Nick Clegg, Floella Benjamin, Simon Hughes and our stunning line up of LibDem parliamentary candidates from across the capital

With exactly two months to go, members and supporters from across London are gathering on the morning of Saturday March 7th to shift the general election campaign into top gear. The event is hosted in Simon Hughes' constituency, at the South Bank University, and will feature many of our new candidates - a young, dynamic team, more representative of London's diversity than ever before.

Opening the event will be former actress and TV star, now Baroness Floella Benjamin, member of the House of Lords since 2010 - and local resident rooting for Simon Hughes.

Party leader Nick Clegg MP, will set out what's at stake for the country, and why re-electing our great team of MPs from London is so important. He'll speak and take questions.

After we've introduced the candidates, Simon Hughes will speak. MP for Bermondsey since his stunning by-election in 1983, now Minister of State for Justice in the government, and doughty campaigner for the rights and liberties of his constituents, Simon is sure to inspire us with a call to arms.
