Hackney Lib Dems Pizza and Politics - Making conference more accessable

The more people who go to Lib Dem conference the better. As a member of the party you can have your say in what the policies of the party should be. But only if you can afford to go and can take the time off work.

Tough then on people on low incomes and teachers who have to work.

Can we make things any fairer? And what is this Lib Dem conference all about anyway?

These are the questions we will be looking at at our next Pizza and Politics event in Hackney. Our guest speaker will be Sue Doughty, former Lib Dem MP for Guildford and one of the main driving forces for opening up Lib Dem conference more to it's members.

The event will take place from 8pm at 60 Lordship Park, Stoke Newington, N16 5UA. You can get there via either Finsbury Park tube or Stoke Newington train station on the 106 bus. Southbound buses from Manor House tube go close by, 141 and 341. You can get a Northbound 141 from Old Street tube or a 341 from Angel tube.

Entry is £12 or £6 for those on low incomes. Pays for a Pizza dinner. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements. Vegetarians will be catered for.

We look forward to seeing you!
