Claire is a proud Londoner and European and currently lives in South London. She is Chair of Croydon Liberal Democrats and is an active campaigner in Croydon and Sutton.
Claire currently works in a national strategic role for The Salvation Army, and has almost 20 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector helping victims of crime, those experiencing homelessness, older people and children, and has campaigned on unfair trade practices and climate change. Claire currently supports potential victims of human trafficking as a volunteer first responder.
Claire has a PhD in International Relations from Exeter University, with a particular focus on understanding how grassroots social movements can bring about change locally, nationally and internationally.
Claire is a keen musician and currently sings with the Royal Choral Society, regularly performing in the Royal Albert Hall and other concert venues across London.
