Francesco Fruzza

“I’m delighted to have been selected by Ealing and Hillingdon Liberal Democrats to be the Lib Dem candidate in the GLA election for Ealing and Hillingdon constituency.”

Francesco was born, educated and lived all his life in West London. He is from an Italian background but has roots firmly planted in West London. His children were born and have grown up in Ealing. Francesco’s 40 year career started with British Airways as an apprentice in the Engineering department, moved into the Computer department holding numerous roles, managing large teams and complex IT projects, and is now working in IT for the Foreign and Commonwealth office.
Francesco is committed to London and will ensure that he works to protect the quality of life for all residents and that we keep London special – the best city in the world.

Francesco has been an active member of the Liberal Democrats since the formation of the party. Francesco has held various positions in the London and Ealing Liberal Democrats, and has stood in local, regional and national elections.

With any London borough but especially Ealing & Hillingdon, even a local would find it is difficult to fully describe the complexities of the various communities, ethnic and religious groupings which make the city so wonderfully vibrant. Francesco is grateful to be offered the opportunity to serve the whole diverse community in Ealing & Hillingdon and, if successful, he will ensure that all the elements which make the community strong will be supported and championed. He will seize this opportunity to continue to expand his knowledge and better understand the needs and aspirations of the whole community in the area.

“ I believe that one of the perceived failings in the political process in the past has been a failure to listen and understand the various needs of the different sections of the community, I will work to change that perception for the better.”
